This Privacy Policy describes how Pellō collects, uses, and protects information from users of the Pellō application.
We collect: name and username, email address, payment information (processed by Stripe), profile photo if uploaded, challenge details and proof photos, GPS and EXIF metadata from proof photos where available.
We use your information to manage your account, process challenges and payments, notify Referees, display stats and history, and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information. Your Referee sees your username, challenge details, proof photos, and GPS/timestamp metadata. Other challenge participants see relevant challenge details. Payment information goes to Stripe. We share information as required by law.
When you upload a proof photo, Pellō may extract GPS coordinates and timestamp metadata. This is displayed to your Referee to assist in verification. If location services are disabled, your Referee will be notified.
We retain your information while your account is active. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission is completely secure.
Pellō is not intended for users under 18. We will delete any accounts found to belong to minors.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
Pellō uses Stripe for payments, Supabase for database and authentication, and Render for hosting.
If you opt in to text notifications, Pellō sends SMS alerts about your own challenges (reminders, proof requests, and settlements) to the number you provide. Message frequency varies with your activity, typically a few messages per week at most. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time or HELP for help. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Continued use of the App after policy changes constitutes acceptance.
